Accenture ASAP Magazine
Developed for the Chemicals, Energy and Utilities industries in the North America market, Accenture’s quarterly ASAP digital magazine delivers the company’s best industry-relevant strategic intelligence quickly and succinctly to readers’ inboxes.
Accenture came to 20nine wanting to establish an immersive, visually compelling journey for its publications. I had the opportunity to concept and design the magazine’s website experience, as well as producing an early 2023 issue for the Energy industry.

The Magazine
ASAP magazine is known for its expressive, flexible aesthetic. For Energy Issue 04, I wanted to take the design in a more high-end, editorial direction compared to previous issues. To achieve this, I broke up the copy content more spaciously and dedicated full, opening spreads to each section, allowing for impactful type, image, and graphic arrangements.
This issue spans six sections and focuses on the 5Cs: Competitiveness, Carbon, Connectivity, Customer and Culture. These areas measure how effectively companies address the challenges of energy transition, their progress toward reinvention and the outcomes they aim to achieve. Each C has an icon, which I used throughout the issue to establish a visual, single red thread.
Although we had a tight budget, I was able to curate a large library of free license photography from Unsplash, create some collage pieces and use dynamic typography to evoke a sense of newness while maintaining Accenture's core aesthetics: authentic, vivid, and transformative.
The Website
To further expand the ASAP Magazine experience, I created the wireframes and front-end design for the website. Originally, I designed a more in-depth layout iterative of other heavier editorial publications with specific article modules, pull quotes and imagery in longer feed format. Ultimately, we landed on a minimal layout with simple UX interactions that makes it easy to locate recent issues and explore the archive within each industry.
